Knobby Weekend
BMA is psyched to start up the first of several monthly coed rides. These events, called Knobby Weekend Rides, are open to all levels from beginner through expert, kids and adults. They are a great opportunity for couples, families and friends of varying skill levels to come out for the same event, but get their own ride in and still hang out together as one biking community. New friends and riding buddies are made.
These rides will happen in the not-too-early morning on a weekend each of the three summer months, June through August. Riders will meet at the selected trailhead and break into groups based on ability. Feel like riding fast and hard; there will be a group for you. Feel like taking it easy; you will find a group just your speed. We will even have a kids group! Each group will have a ride leader and a ride sweeper, so no one will be left behind. After riding for a couple hours, all groups will reconvene at a selected location at the trailhead or nearby for lunch and some cold brews, courtesy of BMA!
- We have posted our ride dates for this summer! The June ride will be in Lyons, the July ride in West Magnolia. The August ride is TBD. If you have any ideas for our August ride please let us know!

The Knobby Weekend rides provide fun for advanced, racing types as well as riders who are brand-new to mountain biking. We hope you come out!
